DBML

Compatible with DBML (dbdiagram.io)

Database Markup Language — the lingua franca of relational schema design. Concise `Table users { id int [pk] name varchar }` syntax with explicit `Ref:` relationships, indexes, enums. Round-trips with dbdiagram.io exports — paste any DBML file and it renders.

Most users come to DBML from dbdiagram.io, DrawSQL or Lucidchart ERD. Glyph runs this engine in the browser — no install, shareable via URL, exportable to PNG / SVG / PDF / source.

Syntax at a glance

Table users { id uuid [pk]; email varchar }
Table orders { id uuid [pk]; user_id uuid [ref: > users.id] }

Paste this in the Studio code pane to see DBML render live. The full grammar is at the upstream-docs link above.
